Gulf Shores Wedding // Plash Island Dream
After ten years of photographing weddings, it is becoming more and more clear that we thrive while shooting intimate, simple weddings. When the focus of the day is on what truly matters, we are able to sit back and watch the love story unfold. We are all about REAL moments. Jeff and Elise were as real as it gets. These two gathered their family members and a few special friends and met on a piece of property on Plash Island. Storms had been threatening all day, but the property was dry and unaffected. Still, with wind blowing and clouds gathering, they said their vows together and paid respect to the directions and mother earth. Some of my favorite moments included the grandmothers as flower girls, the groom forgetting his wedding band, the amazing cloud coverage, and Jeff and Elise’s ability to forget that a camera was around. When those two are together you can see that their love runs deep.
It was an absolute honor to be a part of this day. It was chill and romantic. My two favorite things.
